The atmosphere was buzzing, champagne flowing, lots of beautiful radial products displayed, colourful cookies and immaculate staff everywhere.
I received my complimentary consultation from the flawless and very knowledgeable Jon Rummings (Head of Education at Rodial & International beauty expert) “So which acids do you typically use?” Was the first question I was asked to which I replied honestly none. the truth is I love the Rodial brand for lots of reasons, mainly the idea of ‘injectable and filler’ results without the needles. But at the same time I’m terrified of the thought of acids on my face. I have sensitive skin so I tend to be extra careful with my skincare picks. Till I understand a bit more about what the different acids do and how they work for me I’m scared. So my crash course in acids began and all my fears disappeared as Jon gave me clear information about how all the different products in the booster drop range work and recommended what would be best for me specifically based on my needs. Here’s what I learnt.
What are the Rodial ‘Booster drops’?
A collection of highly concentrated single ingredient serum formulas to ‘boost’ your skincare regime.
What’s the difference between the three types of ‘Boosters’?
30% Collagen. Supports skin renewal and gives visible hydration. Apply 2 drops to a cleansed face.
10% Glycolic Complex. Blurs appearance of wrinkles and resurfaces complexion. Apply 2 drops two to three times a week.
10% Retinol Complex. Evens skin tone, reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and and age spots. Apply two drops to a cleansed face twice a week at night. Use SPF while using the product.
I was recommended the ‘Collagen Drops’ as my gentle introduction to acids. Head to your nearest Rodial counter to find out what’s best for you.
